I don’t have time for my usual in-depth, thoughtful post today, but I did want to post some insight on what’s going on in the next few days. As soon as class ends, I’ll be leaving for Wisconsin, where I’ll be visiting friends I met during my internship last winter at Charleston|Orwig. They have been gracious enough to offer me a place to stay this weekend, and it will be great to catch up with some of my adopted family from a past internship.
On Saturday, I’ll be heading to the World Dairy Expo in Madison. Hopefully I’ll have plenty of pictures, information, and experiences to turn into a blog post or two for next week. I’m very excited, and I’ll have a chance to see a lot of my AgChat friends at the Expo.
This week was National 4-H Week. I had every intention of posting a nicely-written tribute to the organization, but I’ve written about 4-H so much that I haven’t had a lot of inspiration to say anything new. If you want to get an idea of how prevalent 4-H is among the content of my blog, check this out. I can’t even tell you how much 4-H has come up in my usual content. While I do feel a little guilty about passing on my traditional 4-H post for National 4-H Week, I feel a little better knowing that I HAVE contributed plenty of good feedback on the organization!
With all that said, I need to try and figure out where the heck I parked my car on this campus. Wish me luck. Then it’s off to Wisconsin for good company and great food, both inside and out of World Dairy Expo.
